Brean
Leisure Centre is home to a static fairground, and
is situated within the large holiday complex, and
is well worth a visit, even in the wet weather as
it is on a Tarmacaddam site.
Accessing
the fun fair follow, the directions from the
roundabout prior to the holiday complex, by
turning right, and the following the road, and
turn left as directed, car parking will cost you
£2.00 (correct at 06/08).
The
rides are on a token or wrist strap payment system
which can be purchased on the site before proceeding
in. The grounds and rides are in spotless
condition and full credit must be awarded to all
the staff and management.
However
we only found one thing on the downside and that
each ride (alternating) is closed for a period of
time during the day, so please beware the ride you
may like to travel on may be closed, apart from
that you can use your waiting time to ride the
various other rides, which are plentiful.
Also
out of season, a number of illuminated weekends
are put on. Well worth the journey and we hope to
return later in 2008 to taken some night time
shots of this fun fair in all its glory when
illuminated.
